In my final project I decided to focus on a winding technique which is a mocup fase in fabric planning and use it. I examined the relationship between grid and coloring to create a grid based visual language that corresponds with the environment in which I have lived my whole life the city. The project explores the way a city is built .

starting from the foundations and the frame and ending with the complete urban skyline and recaptures the method to build a grid based textiles. Using 'fusible combi' yarn which is a combination of low temperature fusible nylon and polyester filaments I managed to bind the wound yarn layers into a single sheet of textile.
